The aim of the project is to build an alert and prediction system for GLOFs. GLOFs has been largely unpredictable and heavily destructive. This is a protype which only focuses on glacier lake area analysis of a small region in Uttarakhand near Kedarnath. The project makes uses of Google Earth Engine to gain data from Sentinel 1 and Sentinel 2 satellites for more accurate and better results.
