I'd rather not have this apply from a remote URL. Why not keep the checked-in version or use an officially published Gradle plugin?

Update README, so it could show the lastest version of your library.
Update the bintray script to make the javadoc link to
http://docs.oracle.com/javase/7/docs/api, and fixed the compile problem caused by the bintray.gradle.
