Both embedded and standalone Amza instances surface a web accessible interface to manage and monitor the cluster. The UI is located at the /amza path on the configured instance port, e.g. http://amza-node1.myhost.net:1175/amza.

The UI is broken into several key sections, enumerated as follows:

  • Overview: A dashboard of node health and metrics. Includes replication statistics and Delta utilization.
  • Aquarium: An overview of cluster node liveliness (heartbeats). Allows inspection of leadership for a specific partition.
  • Rings: A list of rings and their members.
  • Partitions: A list of partitions for which the viewing node is a member.
  • Chatter: A summary of replication and leadership status for the node with respect to its neighbors.
  • Metrics: A view of partition-specific metrics, leadership, and versioning.
  • Inspect: A tool that permits counts, gets, scans, sets and removes of keys or ranges for a specific partition.
  • Compactions: A log of recent compactions and running time.
  • Cluster: A summary of cluster members. Can be used for manual addition of new members.
  • Stress: A tool to stress test write performance against the cluster. Note that the stress test generates real, persistent data at up to 10GB per minute.
