👋 Hello, fellow humans

Linkedin Gmail

I'm Lucas, a Senior DevOps Engineer from 🇧🇷 Belo Horizonte, working at the intersection of automation, infrastructure, and developer experience.

🚀 What I’m working on

  • Building robust, cost-optimized infrastructure on AWS, primarily with ECS (EC2).
  • Crafting CI/CD pipelines with CircleCI, exploring GitHub Actions, and making deployments safer with blue/green and canary strategies.
  • Defining infrastructure with Terraform and modernizing legacy CDK codebases.
  • Planning a Terraform-powered multi-account AWS architecture migration.

🧠 What I’m learning

  • Deep-diving into Kubernetes for the CKA certification.
  • Fine-tuning my terminal workflow with tmux, Neovim (Lua + LazyVim), and a dash of stubbornness.
  • Reading His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman and rediscovering the joy of fiction.

🧩 Random facts

  • Vegan 🌱, Old 2011 Gol G5 Volkswagem Driver 🚙, and lover of old-but-gold movies from the 90s and early 2000s 🎬.
  • I believe DevOps should empower teams, not gatekeep deployments.

“Time is an illusion. Lunchtime doubly so.” – Douglas Adams

💬 Let’s chat about:

  • ECS vs EKS for scaling teams
  • Optimizing CI/CD pipelines in real-world setups
  • tmux tricks or terminal customizations
  • Or... the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything
