What changes are you trying to make? (e.g. Adding or removing code, refactoring existing code, adding reports)
I figured out the answers to the clues using terminal commands such as cd ls and cat. In assignment.md I recorded the observations listed one-to-one as the clues were and then I wrote the secret password as all the answers in order in one word.
What did you learn from the changes you have made?
I learned that the tenth season of friends had fewer episodes, but for what reason? Then I read that it was reported Jennifer Aniston requested the shorter season so that she can spend more time with Brad Pit. Later her publicist defended her by claiming the whole cast agreed that ending filming in January was to their mutual advantage.
Was there another approach you were thinking about making? If so, what approach(es) were you thinking of?
I can use the Finder application in MacOS to go digging for the clues in a GUI window with the answers diplayed in the preview pane. The benefit of the CLI approach over the GUI approach would be navigating several layers of folders in one go and not having to scroll through long lists of files.
Were there any challenges? If so, what issue(s) did you face? How did you overcome it?
I wasn't sure if I should count the ampersand mark as a word to solve one of the clues. I asked about this in slack Simeon clarified either answer was fine.
How were these changes tested?
I reviewed each clue answer in the numbered list I recorded by manually repeating the clue search. I also visually verified the capitalization and spelling of the secret password against the list of clue answers.
