TaskBell - Classroom Alarm App

Overview

TaskBell is a fun and interactive web app designed to help manage classroom bell schedules. It allows you to set different bell sounds for class start and dismissal, configure class durations, and manage the alarm system for repeated bell sound alerts.

Features:

1. Set Alarm Sounds:

   • Choose different bell sounds for class start and class dismissal.
   • Play the sounds at configured times, repeating based on your class schedule.

2. Set Time Durations:

   • Configure how long the class lasts (class duration).
   • Configure how long the break between classes lasts (break duration).

3. Start/Stop Alarm:

   • Start the alarm and begin the repeating class schedule with the selected bell sounds.
   • Stop the alarm at any time.

4. Mute Sound:

   • When the alarm is playing, a mute button will appear that allows you to stop the sound temporarily until the next bell rings.

5. Status Display:

   • See whether it's class time or break time and how much time is left until the next bell rings.

Setup Instructions:

Prerequisites:

1. A modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.)
2. The app files:
   • index.html
   • style.css
   • script.js
   • /sounds/ folder with bell sounds (bell1.mp3, bell2.mp3, bell3.mp3)

Instructions:

1. Download or clone the project files.
2. Open index.html in your web browser to start using the app.
3. Customize the alarm settings using the provided buttons:
   • Set the class start and dismissal bell sounds.
   • Set the duration for class time and break time.
   • Start and stop the repeating alarm.
4. Enjoy the playful and engaging design while managing your classroom bell schedule!
