Hi, I’m a once-hopeful software engineering student

I scream at computers until they obey.

Don't know who needs to hear this, but I use Arch, btw.

🛠 What I Actually Do

I specialize in building unstable tools that solve very specific problems I created for myself.

JavaScript is my nemesis. It’s not personal, it’s philosophical.
Every time I write a .js file, an angel loses its wings and I lose my will to live.
I hear TypeScript is better, which is cool, because I love lies.

Clean code is a scam, and Uncle Bob needs to log off before he convinces another generation to spend eight hours naming a function instead of shipping a feature.
I know how CORS works, academically, but in practice, every request I make in testing still gets blocked like I’m trying to DDoS myself.

I hate web development with the kind of passion usually reserved for war crimes.
Every framework promises to fix the last one’s mess while creating five new ones.
Still, I’ll write it, for money. Because I love money.
I will write JavaScript, I will debug JavaScript, I will even pretend to enjoy JavaScript… if the paycheck clears.

🖥 Why I Use VS Code

I use VS Code because the last time I tried setting up Vim inside WezTerm + tmux, my custom taskbar literally vanished.
I asked on Stack Overflow and got called a moron.
I posted on Reddit and the mods deleted it for “low effort.”
In a final act of desperation, I asked Claude.

Anthropic claimed Claude was like having a PhD in your terminal.
What I got was a string of advice so catastrophically bad it made my only terminal emulator erase itself from existence.
I had to reinstall my entire system.
Claude was somehow even more stupid than me, and that’s saying something.

At least it didn’t call me a slur.
I did, however, call it one. Repeatedly. With feeling.

Since then, I’ve chosen emotional stability over modal editing.
VS Code may not be powerful, but it hasn’t tried to gaslight me into wiping out my desktop session. Yet.

🧠 Philosophy

I write commits like

“maybe this works”
and leave TODOs like
“fix this later probably.”

I am the sole maintainer of multiple forgotten side projects and at least two internal tools used by an entire team that has no idea I exist.

If it’s dumb but it works, I wrote it.
If it’s smart and broken, I definitely inherited it.

⚠️ HR Disclaimer

For monetary and labor-related reasons, everything above is a joke.
If you're from HR and currently engaging in a forward-looking talent visibility exercise (i.e., stalking my profile)—
it’s an absolute pleasure to connect!
I’m a highly motivated, impact-oriented professional with a proven track record of delivering end-to-end solutions in fast-paced, agile environments.
Passionate about leveraging synergies, driving cross-departmental alignment, and maximizing stakeholder value through scalable, cloud-native innovation.
Let’s circle back and touch base to unlock new strategic opportunities together.
