NumFOCUS Diversity & Inclusion in Scientific Computing (DISC) A community-driven initiative that works to make open-source scientific computing more inclusive and accessible.
The committee’s mission is to broaden the participation and inclusion of underrepresented groups in the NumFOCUS ecosystem, guide diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, and build networks of support and collaboration** across open-source communities. Through this role, I contribute to shaping programs and strategies that foster belonging and representation across global open-source projects.
