I changed the 02_activities/assignments/assignment.sh file to complete the activities listed.

I learned about automating tasks using bash script

Yes there are certainly other way to perform the tasks, but I preferred the easy and simple solutions to accomplish the task.
Were there any challenges? If so, what issue(s) did you face? How did you overcome it?
Yes, carrying out the correct sequence of git commands turned out to be challenging as I never used git to merge repositories.
How were these changes tested?
As suggested in the assignment instructions, I created a test directory, copied the assignments.sh bash script and ran it. I then checked to see if all the operations in the bash script were executed correctly.
