Hi there 👋

My name is Paith Philemon, and I like programming and STEM Education😄

• 💬 I can speak English, Arabic, Dinka, Python, and R (base + tidyverse) fluently

• 👩🏿‍💻 Pronouns: She/Her/Her’s

• 👩🏿‍🏫 I identify as a programmer, academic, research software engineer, and data scientist/artist

• 👩🏿‍💼 I'm currently a Ph.D. Student in STEM education at the University of Minnesota

• 📚 I'm also currently the Founder of The Nile Brand

• 😅 I also serve as a co-founder of the:

🔎 My research interests include:

• Human-centered design and Research, STEM Education, Experimental design,
• Mixed models (also known as multi-level models, panel data models or hierarchical models),
• Data visualization and visual inference,
• Applications in Cognitive Learning
• Software development, particularly in Python,
• Technology practice and workflow (encompassing reproducibility, design, infrastructure, and communication),
• Machine learning and artificial intelligence (including computer vision and large language models).
