AutoDoc's Take on nodeS7

Overview

The idea here is to tweak as is necessary, others' work on nodeS7 to serve my selfish needs. I am primarily a PLC programmer and controls engineer who is constantly looking for ways to communicate across platforms. The spark that started interest here was in playing around with Arduinos, ESP8266s, and Raspberry Pis leveraging an old, abandoned security system at home using (among other things) NodeRED. That, coupled with my professional responsibilities building machines that are better, faster, and cheaper based on Siemens PLCs and HMIs has brought me here. This is probably gonna be a slow, back-burner process, but I will try to document what I'm doing in this space. As I start this effort, I am not a javascript programmer, know little of node.js, but have created some NodeRED flows. I hope to use this project as a learning experience.
