Hi I'm Arav (ah-r-uh-v) 👋

I graduated with a computer science degree in 2021. Officially started working as a Software Engineer towards the end of 2022. (Worked in Big4 Tech Consulting before that) I am highly motivated and love to learn about the latest happenings in tech and solve interesting problems. My goal is to become a strong generalist developer with working fundamental knowledge in all aspects of engineering needed for building high quality production software. I am adept in Infrastructure as Code, best security practices, design patterns, CI/CD and Deployment processes. I have worked quite extensively with AWS. Also highly geared towards product and strategy oriented thinking.

My go to language for building something is Python. Currently, I am more focused on increasing my fluency in Typescript, Node.js, React, and Next.js. I am more backend leaning and have a functional understanding of front-end development. Trying to improve more on that.

I have also worked as a Data Scientist/Data Engineer in the past and find Machine Learning and Statistics quite fascinating.
