The proxy protocol let's proxies to forward the IP address of clients to upstreams. We need to support the Proxy Protocol for both TCP listeners and TCP services.

  • implement the Proxy Protocol for TCP listeners
  • implement the Proxy Protocol for TCP services
  • Update configuration to selectively enable the Proxy Protocol
