high ram usage while building with bun - crash #25487

What version of Bun is running?
oven/bun:1-slim docker image
What platform is your computer?
Ubuntu 24
What steps can reproduce the bug?
On my server I have limited resources (16gb ram), and when I run a build with bun --bun run build, memory usage spikes to over 4 GB until the process freezes and crashes.
Running the same build with Node.js uses about 1 GB of RAM.
Unfortunately, limits such as BUN_JSC_forceRAMSize=3221225472 or --max-old-space-size=2048 do not work. This is a serious problem for my CI/CD pipeline.
I appreciate any help on this.
