  5. Use -timeIntervalSinceReferenceDate for storing NSDate objects. 

    This fixes -isEqualToDate: to fail because NSDate uses timeIntervalSinceReferenceDate internally and converting to timeIntervalSince1970 loses precision due to floating point conversion.
