Vagrant seems to be running, but no service is available

After downloading the Virtualbox file from https://www.accessmod.org/ (https://owncloud.unepgrid.ch/index.php/s/cELqniyA9f1om0H), imported to Virtualbox the machine seems to be running, but following the tutorial at https://github.com/fxi/AccessMod_shiny/wiki/quickstart and visiting localhost:8080 does not respond.

How to get to AccessMod server virtual machine?

Sorry, I don't understand the question. Could you explain a little bit more ?

Did you see something like this after launching the virtual machine:

Vagrant is only the provisioning system. You don't need it for running AccessMod. Use it only if you want a custom build. However if you try to build AccessMod with it, you can expect a lot of work to solve dependencies issues : they can change anytime.

Github is used for tracking issue and code, documentation and virtual machine is available in accessmod.org. The wiki was a side project but only two person contributed to it. It was out of date. I've removed it.
