- Currently “set left” and “compare” commands will favor selections in
a view if selections exist (and the setting is enabled).  The only
exception is when the command is launched from the sidebar, then
selections will be ignored.
- Temporarily clipboard and last active tab commands are disabled

Also, now we can show selections in sidebar.

Now you can compare a view or view’s selections with the clipboard.  It
is a one shot command opposed to the old method of setting clipboard
and then comparing.

- Make sure to check use_selections when calculating descriptions
- Adjust descriptions to look more like they used to
- Clipboard commands now available from panel

- Rework panel command launching
- mru commands can handle views from different windows and ignore
widget views.

- Rename and flesh out the mru command so it can be called from a menu
or from the quick panel.
- Remove unnecessary calls to update_menu (commands now provide their
own descriptions).
- Small tweaks to display.
