Accidental deletion of collections: no way to recover / undelete #201
Description
Hi,
I accidentally deleted a calendar collection in the Android app. The deletion was immediately synced to my self-hosted EteSync server and all clients, and there seems to be no way to:
- view deleted collections, or
- restore/undelete a mistakenly deleted collection.
Given that Etebase/EteSync keeps a full history and only marks collections as deleted, it would be great to have:
- A way to list deleted collections for an account, and
- An “undelete/restore” option (even if exposed only via CLI or advanced UI).
Right now, a single tap can permanently wipe an entire calendar for non-technical users, unless they have their own server backups and know how to restore them.
Is such a recovery feature planned or considered?
