gettex build on Lion

Maybe it is worth a note that gettex won't build on OS X 10.7 until you patch it. The patch is very simple: just change #define __stpncpy stpncpy to __stpncpy gnu_stpncpy in stpncpy.c. I think it will help other people to avoid searching for it.

I built this on Lion back with XCode 4.0 (or 4.1?). At that time, I did not have to patch it. BUT, I did have to modify the script a little bit to force use the GCC compiler (as opposed to GCC-LLVM). The latter compile would crash trying to compile the toolchain.

Let me know if you would like to get this updated build script. I never got to update the instructions for Lion. They apply to Snow Leopard.

Yeah, I've noticed that it applies to Snow Leopard. And I'd love to get that updated build script 'cause currently I cannot build cloog and don't know why exactly. I use XCode 4.3, and the problem is that ld complains about gcc_s ( ld: library not found for -lgcc_s).

Try what? I haven't see any changes to your repository, nor I have received any attachment via e-mail, so I'm a bit confused... ;)

I cannot yet put the new version on there yet because it wont work with Xcode 4.3. Thanks to Apple for taking out gcc 4.2, autoconf, and automake!
