First slide preview not displaying correctly

When editing  a show the first slides preview picture is not always up-to-date with what's there. This is more noticeable when using a background image as the new background added didn't change the preview. More times than not when starting a new show the preview for the first slide only said loading, even after a few changes, until there were significant changes or a second slide.
